We Are Operating in Deficit
- Parish income is down by 10%.
- Our buildings are in varying conditions and all require ongoing maintenance:
- St Patrick’s — earthquake risk
- St Thomas More — over 30 years old
- St Peter’s — historic church
- Support for clergy has increased to 30%, mainly due to the needs of retired clergy.
- Projects have been subsidised by community grants when available.
- We need to rebuild a rainy-day fund.
How You Can Help
Thank you to those who continue to support the parish financially.
To those who are not currently giving, please consider contributing in some way. You may also wish to consider signing up to a regular giving plan.
If every household increased weekly giving to $5.00 per week, the increase across the parish would be approximately $48,000.
Your support, by increasing your giving where possible, will assist the parish to continue to develop and meet the needs of the large, growing, and vibrant community of the Papamoa Coast area.
