Welcome to Our Parish

Kia ora and welcome to All Saints by-the sea, Papamoa Coast.
We are a Roman Catholic Parish in the Diocese of Hamilton, New Zealand. The Parish is made up of three vibrant and diverse churches:

Sacramental Life

Holy Mass
Baptism
Preparation
Reconciliation
Anointing of the Sick
Marriage

Holy Mass - Eucharist

Holy Mass is the heart of our parish life. We gather as God’s family to listen to His Word, give thanks, and receive Jesus in the Eucharist. All are welcome to join us for Sunday and weekday Mass as we pray together, grow in faith, and are strengthened to serve others.

Baptism Preparation

The Baptism preparation course is designed to prepare Catholic parents bringing their children to be baptised and follows the Rite of Baptism. It explains the words, symbols, questions and actions that have been passed down to us in this great sacrament from the early days of the Church. It gives parents and godparents a better understanding of what they are undertaking when a child is baptised and will help and equip them in their role of developing the spiritual life of the child.

The session is held on the first  Monday evening of every second month.   It starts at 7.00pm - 8.30pm (approx) and is held in the St. Thomas More church lounge.

Baptisms are then held on the 1st & 3rd Sunday's of the month.

If you are expecting a baby or have a child under 7 that you would like Baptised, please contact All Saints parish office (07) 575 4807 Ex 2  between the hours of 9am and noon Tuesday to Friday, or by email: [email protected]

Holy Matrimony

The Sacrament of Marriage is a covenant, which is more than a contract. Covenant always expresses a relationship between persons. The marriage covenant refers to the relationship between the husband and wife, a permanent union of persons capable of knowing and loving each other and God. The celebration of marriage is also a liturgical act, appropriately held in a public liturgy at church. Catholics are urged to celebrate their marriage within the Eucharistic Liturgy.

Please contact the parish office at least four months before the intended wedding date to arrange a meeting with a Priest.

Couples are strongly recommended to attend a marriage preparation course run by the Diocese of Hamilton, prior to the wedding.
